Market@July 3: Day's reportThe sentiment remained bullish on Monday. A large number of software stocks opened strong and remained in demand for a major part of the day. The closing was equally strong. Stocks like Satyam Comp, Wipro, SSI and Sterlite gained more than 8 per cent. NIIT and DSQ Software also gained smartly. Meanwhile, in the non-software segment after a weak start ITC showed handsome gains. Reliance remained firm and HLL came under selling pressure. Post-split, the closed at closed at Rs 275. Satyam Computer topped the volume charts accounting for 18 per cent of the total traded volume on the BSE. Sensex up 97 points at 4846. Nifty up 26 points at 1497. Sensex
