Market@June 16: Day's reportThe market opened reasonably strong in the morning and gathered further momentum in the second half. A large number of software stocks showed handsome gains. Global Tele, DSQ Soft, Pentamedia, NIIT and Satyam were up. Almost all these stocks hit the upper circuit of 8 per cent. Non-software stocks also managed to attract huge investment buying. MTNL, SBI, Sterlite, L&T and ICICI rose sharply. The trading volume was reasonably high on both exchanges. Sensex up 111 points at 4764. Nifty up 34 points at 1479. Sensex
