Market@June 19: Day's reportMarket remains extremely bullish. The day started on a positive note, and software stocks managed to attract huge buying. As a result, a large number of stocks hit the upper circuit at 8 per cent. Pentamedia and Silverline were the strongest software stocks. Profit booking was witnessed in the last half-an-hour of the day. Meanwhile, the pivotals also attracted investment buying. ITC, HLL, L&T, ACC, Bhel, SBI, and Ranbaxy remained firm for a major part of the day. Trading volumes were high and touched a three-month high on both the exchanges.
