Market@May 15: Day's reportStocks opened extremely weak and continued to attract selling pressure. The sensex dipped to a 11-month low. However, after 10.50 am, recovery set in as a result of buying at lower levels in software stocks. The recovery process was for the rest of the day, and a large number of software stocks showed positive close. ITC, HLL, Satyam Comp, Zee Tele and Infosys helped the sensex to show a positive close. Trading volumes were compartively high. Zee Tele, Satyam Computers, Infosys, Himachal Futuristic and Silverline topped the volume charts accounting for 59 per cent of total trading on the BSE. Wipro touched its all time high volume. Sensex closed 141 points down at 4110. Nifty closed 23 points lower at 1281. Sensex up 107 points at 4214, Nifty gains 15 points at 1298. Sensex
