Market@October 5: Day's reportThe day started on a positive note for the software stocks. But during the second half of the day huge selling pressure gripped almost all the counters. Pentamedia, Digital Equipment and Silverline were down nearly 5 per cent each. Global Tele, DSQ Soft and Zee Tele also reported sharp fall. In the non-software segement, pharma stocks like Cipla, Ranbaxy and Sun Pharma remained in demand. HLL also remained firm. Reliance, L&T, ACC and SBI showed a negative close.
