Market@April 25: Day's reportSoftware stocks remained extremely voltatile. Global, which was up more than 8 per cent in the morning session, fell more than 10 per cent from the day's high, only to recover most of the fall in an intra-day movement. Other stocks like DSQ Software and Silverline too posted volatile movements but closed on a firm note. Barring Satyam, which closed down by about 7 per cent, the overall sentiment in the technology sector remained positive. Himachal once again closed up 16 per cent. Among the pivotals, Tisco was a big winner, up more than 7 per cent. Cement stocks too posted a rally and stocks like ACC and L&T closed up more than 4 per cent each. Sensex up 10 points at 3600. Nifty up 6 points at 1152.
