Separate Sebi probe against Home Trade

BS Markets Bureau

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has ordered a separate investigation against Home Trade following their failure to appear before the regulator for a post-decision hearing on Monday.

It has also extended the ban on the company until the investigations are complete or for one year, whichever is later.

Referring to the summons for a hearing, a Sebi release said: " Home Trade neither appeared for the hearing on May 13 nor responded to it. Considering the facts of the case, a separate investigation has been ordered against Home Trade."
