'Tech stocks will benefit from a soft Budget'Ramesh S Damani is bullish about the IT revolution and continues to like the the top-rung software services companies. Naga : hello sir naga2 : how will tech stocks be in the days to come? Ramesh S. Damani : They will benefit from a soft budget compared to the real economy abhay : what do you think of digital? Ramesh S. Damani : Best among the second line stocks. However we must watch the growth rate carefully over 2-3 Qtrs anilwawa : Mr. Damani will stocks like Silverline ever recover? Ramesh S. Damani : Looks doubtful naga2 : How about Sterlite Optical? After profit warning from its US counterparts.....the stock is tumbling....will it revive? how is the growth prospect for this company? Ramesh S. Damani : It is unlikely to get a huge multiple. I wuould trade in it at this point anilwawa : What are rediff's chances of repeating its fantastic nasdaq ipo on a local exchange Ramesh S. Damani : Not too hot. Dot com stocks are in trouble anilwawa : That's surprising since Silverline was featured in Business India's coverage of hi-tech Asia as a company with very strong prospects? Ramesh S. Damani : Don't believe everything you read tutu : do you expect the old economy stocks to appreciate from current levels? Ramesh S. Damani : Yes if in cement, power etc sumedht : how about satayam & silverline Ramesh S. Damani : Satyam and Siverline are not on my buy list Roy : Hows this stock called VJIL Consulting for a buy? Ramesh S. Damani : Small co's like that are going to get ignored. They must be doing something special naga2 : Despite a very good quarter with a 250% net up, Moser-Baer is slumping?
