The supermodel, widely acclaimed to be the sexiest man in the country, made himself at home as soon as he arrived at the Rediff office. Munching chicken sandwiches, he gup-shupped about his ads, his career, never at a loss for words. Only once was he struck speechless. "You are cute," one lady contributor declared. "Cute?" puzzled Milind after a long pause, "... I thought I was sexy."

Milind, how far do you see yourself going? Will it always be working in the glamour world?

What kind of world is the world of modelling? Sometime back, I saw you on television and you seemed a smart guy. How do you fit in with the world of mannequins? They seem so articial. How do you make conversation with them?

Akansha: All the campaigns I have worked on so far have been great fun for me . I always work for people I enjoy working with, and who enjoy working with me. Ssome of my fav campaigns have been, Power shoes where I was working out and the whole film is about me working out. Philips music system, where I was working with this girl who was 5 years old and was really cute. Cinthol was the film in which I looked the best and I got a lot of praise for that film for my body*wicked laugh* the ad for which I got a lot of critical acclaim was Tuff shoes.

How much of your career came about by your hard work? is it very difficult to make headway? I am sure having a good body and a pleasant face is not enough. There must be something more to it.

Since I made you so big,you seem to be headed for a permanent TV fix.....is that what you plan?

How do you manage to stay so trim Milind?

Ramen: Modeling is a great career its not a very long career in terms of time it lasts around ten years .max..but you have alot of every thing fame, glamour, money, people love you for your body and you make a lot of contacts and you can explore a lot of different areas, u meet a lot of people of various interests which may be the same as yours who want to work with you, because they think you are interesting. We have a lot of fun .....us mannequins. Basically models are normal people, they are just in an profession in which their faces and bodies are more important than anything else, there are a lot of smart guys and girls in modelling but they do not get a lot of exposure on television. So you don't really know how smart they are. All models are created by the media and that's why they appear are artifical don't judge them too harshly.

Milind, Hi! Why do cultivate this ever so cool look? Like Mr Beatty? Is there a role model you are trying to emulate?

How much do you relate to the character you played in the serial A Mouthful of Sky ??

Milind, I am surprised to discover that you are a a devotee of Narcissus. That can get very dangerous, especially when you grow old. Have you thought about that?

What do you do with the pots of money that you earn. DO you have a secretary to keep track of your schedules etc.?

Aphrodite: Hindi films are a world quite different from any other. Its very difficult to say why certain projects do not work out, I must say that it was unfortunate that I could not work in Dayaara. It was a great project and a fantastic concept. But just bad luck for me I guess.

There is something Beattyish about you these days. How long do you have in the business? Five years, six years. You know something. Women mannequins go on to have other lives, male hunks-- they just wither and be part of the landscape. How do you plan to avoid that?

Are you in this line because you earn such alot or do you really think you are an incarnation of Adonis?

B Datta: I realise the dangers of narcissm but I try and be a s objective as possible regarding my physicality, and after I stop modelling and quit the media I'd probably take up pottery which will cure me of any disease.

DXid the thought of playing a transverstite put you off? Or was it that two western ghats couldn't get along?

While on the topic of Mouthful....... did you & the other players hit it off? or were there undercurrents, etc.....normally narcissus types have a thing about their own importance.How was it with you?

Akansha: Ii was modelling in London and Paris where people didn't know me like they know me in India and they thought that I looked fantastic in places where the Indian media does have a reach and I'm as popular as I'm here the audience is realy good, the people are really friendly and they are dying for anything from India, especially if they arer settled abroad for a long period.

hello? how does one get your attention?

Since you know that this is chaaar din ki chandni.... etc.,what other kind of work are you most likely to take up,when the time comes? Or will you end up modelling as an ancient?

Milind....when you get a chance..could you please tell us about your beginings..life/school and stuff.

Because Madhu appears rather how shall I put it, intellectually challenged. A case in point is her interview in Savvy. Of course she has a wonderful body!

Do you have a very hectic social life?

Akask and Akanksha: The role in A Mouthful f Sky was esdpecially written for me , with my image and character in mind so it wasn't really difficult portraying the kinds of scenes that were written, I got the best compliment after the serial ended from some of the senio technicans working with me when they said they've never met anybody who was in my position who was so easy to work with.

What will you be doing, say, 15 years from now?

What do you plan to do when the arc lights dim? I can't see you become a host on television.
