Mr Naidu we feel that your alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal is an opportunistic. Two reason: One, you opposed the Anandpur resolution from which SAD has not gone back. Two, you have given a ministerial berth to the chief minister's son which shows the kind of quid pro quo politics you play. Your reaction.

Lord Ram is not going to give anybody education or the food... it is the government which has to provide all that... they can't be fooling around building temples...

Venkaiah Naiduji: I am a strong supporter of BJP and Hindutva. I also have pride in our culture and tradition. I have seen some temples and read about some others and found that they are not only architectural wonders but are also astronomical wonders like the Vidyasankar temple in Sringeri. Does the BJP have any plans to see that we do not lose these talents or knowledge (Iam sure there are people in our country with such knowledge) by blindly following so called "western sciences".

Mr. Naidu : Thanks for your answer. I think you are right. Mr. Advani is a forthright person. He was to have won the Magsaysay award for his work in politics except for the Rath Yathra thing. But him being a sindhi, who came over to India during the partition. I think he understands the border situation very well. Can't think of a better person to be the home minister and work with Pakistan to ensure peace at the border.

Mr. Naidu, there have been reports that, though on paper BJP has not made any deal with Jayalalitha to scrap the court cases against her, in reality that's exactly what's been agreed upon. From past experience with countless scams, this seems all the more likely since public memory is incredibly short. egs are Sukhram, Kalpanath Rai, Jayalalitha etc who were voted back to power! Don't you think that this is just continuing the legacy of all the previous govts albeit in a new name?

Sri George Fernandes on Star Plus (prannoy's program) definitely said that coke etc can go to hell if he had his way. What are you going to do about the -2% growth in agriculture? And how come the BJP's economic agenda is quite different from the prescriptions of the world community? believe me I am not a fan of Chidambaramonomics. But it seemed to have a stronger base of logic and qualification. Which bureaucrats are you talking of anyway who are acknowledged in the world as good economists? would a rangarajan or Amartya Sen work with the BJP?

Mr. Naidu, Sushma Swaraj in her previous 13-day stint in the I&B ministry did another interesting thing, other than the dress code. She ordered that all family planning / contraceptive adverts to be moved to late night (past 11pm?) slots on DD. Now, Mr. Naidu, who do we want to target during the advert? Isn't it the illeterate rural citizen who should be convinced about family planning and the ways to go about it? Shouldn't they be convinced about the dangers of population explosion? Won't moving it to a late slot decrease not only this but all target groups compared to the prime time slots? How can a minister who realises what population is causing to India take such a narrow-minded approach (she said that children ask the most "embarrassing" questions because of the advert.!) instead of increasing the various methods by which the idea of family planning is spread & implemented ? What is your response?
