Good morning, everyone! Its time for the 74th Golden Globe Awards where glitz and glamour combine to raise a toast and applaud the best in the world of film and television.

Hosted by The Tonight Shows Jimmy Fallon, the ceremony he quips might just be the last party of 2017 before Donald Trump assumes his role as US President.

This year, our very own Priyanka Chopra is presenting, Meryl Streep, nominated for the 30th time, goes home with a trophy come what may, namesakes and Canucks Ryan Gosling (La La Land) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) fight for Best Actor in Comedy/Musical category even as fallen/forgotten icons Mel Gibson, Winona Ryder and John Travolta make a comeback of sorts.

Will Netflix get any love for the fan favourite Stranger Things or ambitious biographical series, The Crown?
