Vision Statement for Indian Cricket

 Introduction

Cricket in India is not a game, but a religion for unnumbered millions.

However, cricket, today, is a religion shorn of idols; a religion that has turned a nation of believers into a nation of atheists.
The BCCI recognizes that the game is what it is because of the support of the fans.
That without that support, the game will die. And that, therefore, the first priority before the board is to regain the trust of the fans.

To bring the worshippers back to the temple of cricket.
With that objective in mind, we present our action plan for the future, as under:
