Azhar to move court over life ban

Former India captain Mohammed Azharuddin will challenge the life ban slapped on him by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

"He will move court. But it is yet to be decided whether he will go to the Andhra Pradesh high court or the district court," his counsel and former Union law minister H R Bhardwaj said on Wednesday.

He said the former India captain's legal advisors are working out the details.

There are indications that another former captain Ajay Jadeja is also working towards moving the court against the five-year ban imposed on him by the board.

Meanwhile, Manoj Prabhakar said that he would first appeal to the board against the five-year ban imposed on him. "If I fail to get justice there, I will knock at the court's door," he said.
