As captain, Ganguly is on the threshold of leading India to its maiden Test series win abroad in 16 years. On the ongoing tour of England, he led India to the NatWest Tri-Series triumph and a Test win at Headingley last week. He says: "Actually, cricket is not a competition to see who can make the most friends. It is about winning matches. "People expect a lot out of you, and if you're doing well, they are behind you.
