Parthiv Patel became Test cricket's youngest wicketkeeper when he made his debut against England at Trent Bridge in the second Test in August 2002.

He made his Limited Overs International debut against New Zealand at Queenstown the following year.

Adam Gilchrist took over from Ian Healy in October 1996, when he made his one-day international debut against South Africa at Faridabad in India. Since then he has terrorised bowlers worldwide. He is also the world's leading wicketkeeper. You will rarely find a ball missing his gloves.

He has played 173 one-day internationals, scoring 5598 runs with 8 centuries and 34 half-centuries at a phenomenal strike rate of 92.10.

His one-day international batting average of 34.77 puts him in a league of his own.

His eight centuries also put him on top of a list of wicketkeepers scoring centuries in one-day internationals.

He also holds the record for the most of number of dismissals (six) in an one-day international innings.
