India vs New Zealand
Ninth ODI
Virender Sehwag, with ice running through his veins, appeared calm approaching his sixth hundred.
Sehwag eight short of his century, nicked fast bowler Darryl Tuffey but the ball flew past the outstretched hands of keeper Brendon McCullum to the fence. The Kiwis had surrendered.
Today was Sehwag's day as he survived another chance when a lofted shot fell just short of Kyle Mills at long off in the 40th over. Cairns the bowler could not believe his misfortune.
