Muttiah Muralitharan was the architect of Sri Lanka's massive win over West Indies in the Kandy Test on Monday.

Murali's second innings' 8 wickets gave him his 14th ten-wicket haul in a Test.

There is no parallel to Murali's deeds when it comes to picking up five-wicket innings or ten-wicket match hauls as is demonstrated by the accompanying tables:
