Following are the statistical highlights after the fifth and concluding day of the first Test between India and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Bangalore on Monday.

# The just concluded Bangalore Test between India and Australia was the second drawn game at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The two countries had first played a drawn game in September 1979.

# While batting in the fourth innings of a Test match, Virender Sehwag has averaged 27.23 -- 463 in 20 innings, including three fifties.

# On his home ground at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Rahul Dravid is averaging just 21.69 -- 282 runs in 13 innings (7 Tests), including two fifties at a strike rate of 31.40.

# Gautam Gambhir (29 off 81  balls) recorded his highest score against Australia, bettering his 21 in the first innings of the Bangalore Tests. In two Tests against Australia, he has made 54 runs at an average of 13.50.

# Zaheer Khan's third Man of the Match award is his first against Australia.

# The bowling figures of 7 for 117 by Ishant Sharma are the best by an Indian speedster at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, surpassing Karsan Ghavri's 7 for 128 (2/77 & 5/51) against West Indies in 1978-79.

# For the first time in a Test match on home soil, Anil Kumble (43-6-129-0 & 8-0-31-0) could not claim a single wicket.

# Sachin has not posted a half-century in his last ten innings.

# The Bangalore Test produced 120 extras -- a record in India-Australia Tests, beating the 115 in the 2003-04 Sydney Test.

# Cameron White became the seventh bowler to take Sachin's wicket as his first on debut in Test Cricket.
