Mendis becomes the fastest to take 50 wickets in ODIs

Sri Lanka's Ajantha Mendis on Monday became the fastest to race to the 50-wicket mark in ODIs when he had Zimbabwe's Ray Price stumped by Kumar Sangakkara.

Mendis was playing his 19th match, which takes him ahead of India's Ajit Agarkar, who reached the landmark in his 23rd match.
