BJP-TDP alliance leads in 16 LS seats

Union Minister of State for Urban Development Bandaru Dattatreya (BJP) has been declared elected from the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency. He defeated his nearest rival Nadendla Bhaskara Rao of the Congress by 97,626 votes.

The Bharatiya Janata Party-Telugu Desam Party alliance is leading in 16 seats in Andhra Pradesh while the Congress is ahead in just six seats.

Hyderabad: Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen's Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, after wiping off an initial deficit, defeated his nearest rival, the BJP's Baddam Bal Reddy, by 60,821 votes.

Narsapur:Film star-turned politician and BJP candidate U V Krishnamraju is leading over K Bapiraju, the Congress-I member of the dissolved house by over 4,000 votes.

Tenali: Former union minister and Congress nominee P Shiv Shanker is trailing by 9000 votes behind his nearest TDP rival Ummareddy Venkateswarlu.

Amalapuram (SC): Former Lok Sabha speaker G M C Balayogi of the TDP was leading by 44,278 votes over his nearest Congress rival G Surya Rao.

Kurnool: Former chief minister and CWC member K Vijayabhaskara Reddy was leading by 10,501 votes over his nearest rival, K E Krishnamurthy of the TDP.

Miryalaguda: S Jaipal Reddy of the Congress was leading by 9,957 votes over his nearest TDP rival, Rangasai Reddy.
