Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh on Monday expressed confidence that the Congress will score a hat-trick in the assembly polls in the state.

Speaking to reporters after casting his vote in Raghogarh, he said the Congress will win 125 to 135 seats. "I have delivered my googly and on December 4, I will down even the third stump of the BJP," he said.

Referring to the presence of top Bharatiya Janata Party ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Singh said: "It looks like the Union government is fighting elections in MP, not the BJP."

He said he will win the Raghogarh seat comfortably.

When his reaction was sought to poll surveys that have predicted his party's defeat, the chief minister questioned the credibility of these predictions.

Bharatiya Janata Party national secretary, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the main rival of the chief minister in Raghogarh, expressed confidence about causing an upset.
