"I have come to win the heart, not election," Rahul told reporters in an informal chat at the Munshiganj guest house near here.

Rahul, the son of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, is the Congress candidate in Amethi.

On the BJP's claim of a 'feel good factor' working in its favour, Rahul said even developed countries thrive for more and more development, but they (the BJP) claim the country has developed fully.

He said his immediate aim is to win the election in Amethi and ensure all-round development in the constituency.

To a question he said the response he got from the people of Amethi has left him overwhelmed. "I had come here with my father [some years back] and now seeing the response his memories have come back to me. I miss him very
much."

To another question, he said, his entire family has been under attack from different quarters -- an oblique reference to his mother Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin issue. But, he said, he does not attach much importance to it.
