Hema Malini granted anticipatory bail
NFDC General Manager Rabi Malik and Managing Director Dipankar Mukhopadhyay were, however, denied anticipatory bail. The four apprehended arrest in connection with a case of cheating, misappropriation and damage to property filed by Debesh Ghosh, proprietor of Lokenath Chitramandir. The case was lodged with the Shakespeare Sarani police station in the city on June 7, 2001 . The Division Bench comprised Justice Nure Alam Choudhury and Justice Narayan Chandra Sil.
He also submitted that the films were, however, not kept in Rupayan and as such the films were badly damaged causing a loss of about Rs 50 crore. PTI
