'Ferozji was known as the rajasaab of our time'

Farida Jalal worked with Feroz Khan [ Images ] in quite a few films like Dharmatma, Kala Sona and Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein. The news that Khan passed away came as quite a shock to the actress.

Farida Jalal goes back in time to remember the 'rajasaab' of their times.

Ferozji was known as the rajasaab of our times. He was royal. He was very loving and caring.

I played his sister in Dharmatma and he would take care of me as a brother. He was very protective about me. I know him as a very generous person as Dharmatma was his production. Any other producer would try and cut costs but he never did. He was always generous with his productions.

Dharmatma was the remake of Godfather and he would always keep the book with him like a bible.

He always spoke English. He would call me 'baby' and 'sweetheart'.

I am missing him already.
