Market@June 9: Day's reportThe volatility factor was again at its peak in software stocks. Wild moves were witnessed in counters like Silverline, Himachal, Global Tele, DSQ Soft, Infosys, and Satyam Computer. As a result, the trading volume was quite high on both the exchanges. On the BSE, it touched a 3-month high. Sensex up one point at 4730. Nifty up two points at 1465. Meanwhile, there was strong buying in pivotals. MTNL hit the 12 per cent circuit. Telco, Grasim, ACC, L&T and SBI also attracted huge buying. Reliance remained strong in the first half but showed a sharp decline in the second half. Meanwhile, Himachal, Satyam, Silverline, Infosys and Global Tele topped the volume chart accounting for 48 per cent of the total traded volume on the BSE. Volume in Silverline counter touched a six-month peak. Sensex
