Budget to be presented at 1100 hrs on Feb 28

The general budget for 2001-2002 will be presented in Parliament at 1100 hours on February 28.

This was announced by the Speaker G M C Balayogi at an all-party meeting soon after President K R Narayanan made his address to the joint sitting of both houses of Parliament on Monday.

The Railway budget for 2001-2002 will be presented on February 26 after the Question Hour, he said.
