BJP warns Jogi government on BalcoBJP on Wednesday warned the Congress government in Chhattisgarh that the Centre could recover the losses suffered by Balco from the state grants if it continued its belligerent attitude on the ongoing strike. "The centre holds 49 per cent share in Balco and if the Congress government led by Ajit Jogi does not allow resumption of working of the company, the Centre could recover the money from the assistance given to the state," party spokesman V K Malhotra told reporters. Making a scathing attack on Jogi, he said, "The state is not the property of the chief minister and that he cannot perpetuate gangsterism in the name of the state." Malhotra said if this kind of attitude persists, nobody would invest in the setting up of industries in the state and this would only affect its industrial development. "Jogi is acting in an irresponsible manner and it is a bad mark for the country. He is talking like a trade union leader and not a chief minister," he said. SEE ALSO:
