Ashok Damani, Sunil and Apurva Shah BSE's new broker-directorsLeading brokers Sunil Shah, Apurva Shah and Ashok Kumar Damani were today elected as directors of Bombay Stock Exchange's (BSE) governing board for 2001-02, even as Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) restrained BSE cardholders from acting as directors. Out of the five brokers in the fray, three were declared elected after they bagged 306, 276 and 227 votes respectively, BSE said in a release here. Rajendraprasad Jhunjunwala and Kirit Kumar Vora got 111 and 94 votes respectively, it added. ALSO READ: SEBI says to block new BSE broker-directors
