Bipasha BasuThe event was to announce Bipasha Basu becoming brand ambassador of Jump Games, but all everyone assembled wanted to talk about was the star's alleged 'kiss' with footballer Christiano Ronaldo in Lisbon.

There was a tense moment when a journalist asked about the episode. Bipasha refused to discuss it, saying, "I don't think I need to clarify. You can ask me anything regarding my association with Jump Games, but not that." Asked if she was upset with the media for 'misrepresention of facts,' the actress replied, "I am not upset with anybody. I am in the media because I am an actor."

She had stated earlier that Ronaldo was speaking in the ear because of the loud music in the discotheque, when pictures were clicked. She also clarified on her official Web site: 'As always, I came home to another nasty surprise from the media. It's nice to know the media circus is still playing. After receiving so much praise and international recognition, from extremely talented people, a silly rumour should be the least of my problems,' she continued. 'Some have even suggested I planted the story myself as a publicity stunt. Now that doesn't sound logical at all. I got more attention from the international media for this event than I could ever hope for. And for all the right reasons. Why would I want to curdle that with something like this?'

Speaking about her game, Bipasha Basu Jet Ski Champ, she said, "It is an interesting game, through which fans will be able to find out different aspects of my personality." The game is available for download at Rs 50, and costs Rs 5 for a single play without downloading. Its rate internationally is $5.

Jump Games claims it will have more games themed on Basu. The company had earlier signed up with actress Sameera Reddy and music director Bappi Lahiri.

Bipasha did have a word of caution for children addicted to gaming: "Anything done in excess is not good," she said. "Never overdo or become an addict of anything."
