Finally, some good news for Britney Spears.
The singer, who is embroiled in a custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline after a bitter divorce, has been granted more time with her sons, as she continues to make progress in rebuilding her life.
A Reuters report quoting Federline's lawyers said that Britney's visitation rights had been extended but did not give further details.
'We all see indicators of progress by Ms Spears,' Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan was quoted as saying.
'What was a seemingly daily state of extreme flux has been stabilised,' he added.
The 26-year-old singer, who appeared at the court on time for Tuesday's closed hearing, was also assessed by a mental health expert.
Meanwhile, the singer's parents in a statement said, 'We are so pleased at Britney's progress and we are very appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress.'
