Why do only the good die young? Or, in this case, retire young?

Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman revealed at a recent press conference -- one meant to promote her upcoming film Australia -- that she's not quite certain about her future in the film industry, adding that rather than continue to act she may instead have more children.

Kidman, who as been at times the highest paid actress in Hollywood, cited the difficulty and pain she and her husband Keith Urban faced when leaving behind newborn daughter Sunday Rose so that they could attend Australia's Sydney premiere.

'In terms of my future as an actor I don't know,' she reportedly said. 'I'm in a place in my life where I have had some great opportunities but I may choose to have some more children...There are many things I want to do besides act.'

Kidman already has two children -- Connor and Isabella -- from an earlier marriage to Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise; Sunday Rose makes it three bachches, surely a difficult task for one of Hollywood's most successful and glamorous actresses.

Though husband Keith earns her undivided attention in 'real-life', for the film Australia, Kidman's love interest in the film is heartthrob Hugh Jackman, with whom she reportedly shares a steamy smooch. Kidman, never bashful, said the locked lips were a highlight of the shoot.

'Obviously we are in character and everything but it was a good day to go to work,' she joked.

The film carries huge expectations, it being director Baz Luhrmann's first movie since Moulin Rouge in 2001 and has an immense budget ($130 million).

One thing's for sure, if Australia really does end up a send-off for Kidman, we expect her out to go in style, as only she can!
