Kashmir, Himachal are warmer than usualNight temperatures were below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu. They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir as well as in parts of north central Maharashtra and Marathwada, and appreciably above normal in Manipur, east Uttar Pradesh, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh and some parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and the remaining parts of south central Maharashtra. Night temperatures were above normal in some parts of Bihar, the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the remaining parts of Gujarat state. They were normal in the rest of the country, except for Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the country. Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the south Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
