Bihar governor will be replaced: AdvaniBihar Governor Sunder Singh Bhandari will be replaced by an apolitical person, so as to give the state an administration that would ensure law and order and help develop social harmony. Home Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani told newsmen at Rashtrapati Bhavan that the decision to replace Bhandari -- a Bharatiya Janata Party ideologue -- has already been taken. A new governor is expected to take charge soon. Several senior officials will also be changed in order to give the state efficient administration, the home minister said. ''We want to give Bihar, which has been placed under President's Rule an apolitical administration,'' Advani added. Informed sources said the government feel a new governor with an impeccable career as an administrator will provide able governance in the state to check caste violence and crime. The main objective behind the change in the governor is to convince all sections in the state that the imposition of President's Rule is not politically motivated. UNI
