 | Goa BJP vice-president quits party  Pandurang Raut, who contested the Panjim Lok Sabha seat and lost to the Congress narrowly in the last election, has quit the Bharatiya Janata Party. Raut was vice-president of the party. Raut, who started his political career with the Maharastrawadi Gomantak Party, has a history of defections in the past 10 years. He has been in practically every political party in the state and was a minister in the governments of Ravi Naik and Wilfred de Souza. UNI |
