Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder To Perform In Many CitiesShows by Bollywood stars have already peaked out in many American cities. Now, it is the turn of singers and musicians. Sonu Nigam is performing in half a dozen cities, and so is Sukhwinder Singh. Sonu Nigam will perform -- among his many engagements -- at the Ritz Theater in Elizabeth, New Jersey on July 17, with tickets ranging from $ 25 to $ 75. Since he performed with Asha Bhosle two years ago in several American cities, Sonu has become a big draw. "He is young and he is lively," says a fan, Simran Bindra. "He knows how to involve the audiences. And he enjoys singing old and new songs." Sukhwinder Singh, who performs at Ritz in Elizabeth on July 24 -- with tickets going from $ 15 to $ 75 and VIP -- is comparatively a newcomer. But given the popularity of his songs in Taal, Dil Se and Kachhe Dhaage, he could be a big draw. Besides, his group, apart from having the new hot-shot singer Jaspinder Narula, also has Mamta Kulkarni. "He is also an award winner -- he won the Filmfare award, the Screen-Videocon Award and the Channel [V] Award, all in one year," says fan Anju Mistry. He is young and dashing. I am sure his show will be a hit." Previous story: The 'Invisible Muslims' Of America
