Two held in sensational Jessica murder caseSunil Jha in New Delhi The Delhi police have arrested key accused Manu Sharma alias Siddharth Vashist's two alleged accomplices, including Amardeep Singh Gill alias Tony, in the sensational Jessica Lal murder case. The interrogation of the two accused has reportedly provided some vital clues about the case and the prime accused in the model's murder in a crowded south Delhi restaurant, Tamarind Court. Among the other witnesses who were examined by the police yesterday were Joint Commissioner of Police Y S Dadwal and Malini Ramani, daughter of socialite Bina Ramani who owns Tamarind Court. Malini was reportedly the last person to talk to Jessica before she died and also to hear the conversation between the model and Manu. Dadwal was reportedly present at the restaurant when the incident took place. Manu, son of former Union minister of state Venod Sharma, continued to dodge the police even after five days of the incident. Sources said Tony, who works as a senior executive with a Coke franchisee, was interrogated yesterday at the south Delhi police headquarters. They indicated that he had provided certain vital clues about the events which preceded the killing of the 34-year-old model. He reportedly also gave some indication of Manu's whereabouts. Venod Sharma was interrogated on Monday for more than three hours but he denied having any information about his son's whereabouts. Joint Commissioner of Police (southern range) Amod Kanth said, ''We have examined the people who are close to Manu Sharma.'' He refused to give any further details, but only confirmed that one of the persons interrogated was Tony. Asked about the involvement of Vikas Yadav, son of former member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh, D P Yadav, he said, ''Vikas is reaching the capital from Sambhal and would be questioned once he is here.'' Amod Kanth said Dadwal has been questioned but he could not provide much information since he was not present near the bar when the incident took place. UNI
