We did not lose any positions: 'rebels'The Mutahidda Jihad Council, the militant group representing about 10 Kashmiri freedom outfits, has claimed they had not lost any positions to the Indian troops in the Kargil sector of Jammu and Kashmir. A spokesman for the 'rebel alliance' made the statement in Muzaffarabad, capital of Pakistani occupied Kashmir, on Sunday, reports CNN. The claim comes close on the heels of the Indian Air Force and the Indian Army's statement that the infiltrators are now on the run. "All intrusions have been contained, intruders had been pushed back in all sectors," Major General J J Singh, additional director general of military operations, said yesterday.
