J&K separatist leaders for peace seminar

For the first time since the Centre's announcement of unilateral ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir during Ramzan, prominent leaders of the Hurriyat Conference and some other separatist groups from the state are likely to assemble in New Delhi at a seminar on giving peace a chance in the trouble-torn state.

British parliamentarian Lord Eric Avebury, who has been espousing the Kashmir cause for quite some time, will also take part in the two-day seminar being organised by a Non Government Organisation - International Centre for Peace Initiatives.

Among those likely to participate are Yaseen Malik and Shabir Shah who arrived in Delhi on Friday.
