Three brothers arrested in connection
with killing of Jaish terrorists

The Allahabad police have arrested three brothers who had provided shelter to two militants associated with Pakistan based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad, who were shot dead by a Special Task Force unit in Lucknow on Wednesday.

Talking to newspersons in Allahabad on Wednesday night, Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar Tiwari said that out of the three militants killed in the police encounter on Wednesday, Saleem and Sajid had been associated with the brothers Maulana Ubaidullah, Wasi Ullah and and Vali Ullah, residents of Allahabad, for the past several months.

The militants even used to stay at the house of these brothers, he said.

Tiwari said that Vali Ullah was a research scholar in Deoband in Saharanpur district and was in the process of leaving for militant training in Afghanistan.

The accused were to be produced in court on Thursday.
