Narasimha appears before Liberhan: PTI

Former prime minister P V Narasimha Rao Monday appeared before the Liberhan Commission, probing the consequence of events leading to the demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya on December 6, 1992.

He was accompanied by his lawyers R K Anand and I U Khan.

Rao's deposition assumes significance in the wake of allegations that he as the prime minister had failed to protect the structure.
