Shubha Mudgal to sing for Musharraf

If you lived with the belief that the Indo-Pak summit was all about defusing the tension over Kashmir and thawing the situation in Siachin, you have got it wrong.

The Indo-Pak summit to be held at Agra is going to be music for ears as well.

And literally at that.

A cultural programme is going to organised at the summit venue by government agencies and the music for the ears is going to be the mesmerising voice of the classical singer turned Indipop artiste Shubha Mudgal.

The cultural programme is being organised by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, external affairs ministry sources said.

However, no ICCR official was coming on the record about the cultural programme or the participation of Shubha Mudgal in it.

But ICCR sources confirmed her participation, though they did not divulge the details of the programme.

Shubha Mudgal, however, could not be contacted for her comments.
