Rajnath Singh rules out any
alliance with BSP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday ruled out an pre or post-poll alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for the coming assembly elections and expressed confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies would be able to form a government in the state.

"There is no question of any alliance with the BSP. There could be an alliance between the Samajwadi Party and the BSP but not between BJP and BSP," the chief minister told a television channel.

"Koi sawaal hi nahi paida hota" (The question does not arise), Singh said emphatically when asked if there could be pre or post-poll alliance under a common minimum programme.
