Rasheed came to India by the Samjhauta Express and was staying in the country for the past three months, district Superintendent of Police B R Gwala said.
A diary containing important addresses and telephone numbers of his associates in India, Dubai and Pakistan was seized, the SP said.
Rasheed hailed from Bhanbha-Kala village in Lahore and shuttled between India and Pakistan at least 14 times, he said.
