The special trial court hearing the case against film financier Bharat Shah has asked public prosecutor Rohini Salian to open her arguments against Shah and others on Friday.
Shah, who was released on bail by Supreme Court on Wednesday, will, however, continue to be in Bombay Hospital until he recovers, hospital sources said.
Shah is undergoing treatment under a panel of doctors comprising a neurologist and a cardiologist, the sources said.
The expert panel of doctors appointed by Mumbai high court to supervise Shah's health has already submitted a report to the court.
Shah had filed a petition in the high court challenging the trial court verdict, which had ordered that he should be shifted from Lilavati Hospital to government-run J J Hospital.
The high court, however, ordered that he should be shifted to another hospital -- Bombay Hospital.
On July 10 last, Shah was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after he complained of uneasiness and angina pain in the jail.
Shah is accused of developing nexus with the underworld to target film personalities for personal gains.
The police claim to have recorded his telephonic talks with Karachi-based gangster Chhota Shakeel, which allegedly reveal his links with underworld.
Other accused are film producer Nasim Rizvi and his assistant Abdul Rahim Allah Baksh. The special trial court hearing the case has been set up under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act.
