Curfew reimposed in three
areas in Ahmedabad

Indefinite curfew was reimposed in three sensitive areas of Karanj, Kalupur and Shahpur in Ahmedabad on Friday afternoon following sporadic incidents of violence.

Police said curfew was reimposed in the three police station areas as a precautionary measure after people started gathering in the streets and pelted stones.

Army and para-military forces are patrolling the sensitive areas.
