Fire breaks out in cracker shop in Hyderabad, 13 killed

At least 13 people, including a woman, were killed and ten suffered burn injuries in a major fire that broke out in a cracker shop in Begumbazar area in Hyderabad in the wee hours on Wednesday.

The fire broke out on the ground floor of the shop and later engulfed the entire four-floor building, police sources said.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by top police officials, visited the spot and also the hospital where the injured have been admitted.
