Bhujbal admitted to Breach Candy hospital

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal was on Monday admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital after he complained of 'uneasiness and chest pain', hospital sources said in Mumbai.

"An ECG has been performed and his condition is stable," they said.

Bhujbal, who was in Nagpur in connection with the winter session of the state legislature, arrived in Mumbai in the morning and was straightaway taken to the hospital for a check-up.

A team of doctors, led by Dr A P Mehta, is attending on the senior Nationalist Congress Party leader who had on Sunday evening complained of 'uneasiness' and had high blood pressure. He was taken to a hospital in Nagpur where doctors advised rest.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde scotched reports that Bhujbal has resigned after coming under attack from the Shiv Sena-BJP opposition in connection with the fake stamp paper racket.
