Singapore Airlines and Jet Airways announced on Wednesday that they would resume normal flight operations in and out of Mumbai from Thursday.
The south east Asian carrier will operate its day flight (SQ 421) and the night service (SQ 423) as the navigation equipment on the main runway was again serviceable, Singapore Airlines said in a release.
The airline, which had suspended its flights last week following torrential rains and closure of the Mumbai airport, had begun daytime flights from August 1.
Jet Airways also announced that it would resume normal flight operations in and out of Mumbai from tomorrow. The airline, which operates 144 flights daily in and out of the metropolis, had curtailed its flights for three days till today following the recent disruption and later a directive from the Civil Aviation Ministry, the airline said in a release.
