The Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party on Thursday decided to attend the proceedings in both Houses of Parliament.
The opposition National Democratic Alliance, with which the TDP has been associated for several years now, has decided to continue its boycott of Parliament through the entire Budget session.
The TDP decision came as a blow to the NDA which had claimed there were no differences within the alliance or its partners over its boycott of Parliament.
The TDP decision came after a meeting of its parliamentary board in New Delhi in the morning.
The Bharatiya Janata Party, which heads the NDA, however put up a brave front saying the TDP was never a part of the NDA.
BJP Parliamentary Party spokesman V K Malhotra, however, acknowledged that his party had requested the TDP a number of times to continue with the boycott.
