Hoping that separatists and the Hurriyat Conference will understand the importance of resolving issues through dialogue, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has said the government was willing to talk to any person who shuns violence.
Dialogue is the only route to solve all complex problems and separatists and other groups are expected to participate in future talks, Azad told reporters at Bhaderwah in Doda district on Sunday.
He said the state had suffered heavily on all fronts due to militancy.
Azad said that he has already issued strict instructions to the security forces to avoid any collateral loss of property or life while combating militancy. The chief minister, however, emphasised that human rights violations being resorted to by militants are to be condemned by one and all, so that no innocent is killed or harmed by the militants in the state.
